Meet Melody Rackley
Melody Rackley is a Broker Associate and Realtor with more than 14 years of full-time real estate experience serving the Texas Hill Country. Born and raised in San Antonio, she moved to Bulverde in 2008 and has built a respected career grounded in trusted relationships, thoughtful guidance, and proven results.
Known for her professionalism, integrity, and excellent communication, Melody brings a calm, confident presence to the real estate process—but don’t mistake calm for passive. More than a few clients have affectionately called her their “little bulldog” for the way she advocates for them when a transaction becomes challenging. With a degree in psychology, she also brings an understanding of people, communication, and negotiation that serves her clients especially well when the stakes are high.
Melody’s goal is to provide a seamless, elevated real estate experience while remaining warm, approachable, and genuinely easy to work with. Her background in professional design gives her a refined eye for staging and presenting homes for sale, while also helping buyers see the potential in a property. Clients regularly turn to her for thoughts on paint colors, furniture placement, renovations, and which improvements are likely to be a smart investment rather than simply a passing trend.
In addition to representing buyers and sellers, Melody has spent more than seven years training, mentoring, and supporting agents who join Reliance Residential Realty. Helping other agents build successful careers has become one of the most rewarding parts of her own, and she is known within her brokerage for being generous with her experience and knowledge.
Her connection to the Hill Country extends well beyond real estate. Melody is an active member of the Bulverde Spring Branch Chamber of Commerce and over the years, has served in various roles with the Chamber, Comal ISD, and her church. Those relationships have given her an even deeper understanding of the communities she serves—as well as a strong network of local resources and trusted professionals she can recommend to her clients.
Outside of real estate, Melody’s greatest joy is her family, including her two daughters, who attend Texas State and Tarleton, and a very loved rescue poodle-schnauzer mix. Her faith is an important part of her life, and she enjoys being involved in her church and community. You’ll also find her enjoying live music, trying new restaurants, hiking, shopping, working out at HOTWORX, reading, keeping up with design trends, or hosting game night with friends.
And then there are the birds. Melody is an unapologetic bird lover who enjoys watching recordings from the birdhouse camera in her backyard, and when she is out in nature. Serious bird-watching is a goal for retirement!
